• This is a timed auction. All lots close on a “soft close” basis, meaning bids received within two minutes of the stated closing time will extend the lot’s closing time by three minutes.

• All lots are sold “as is, where is.” Lot listings reflect the latest market valuations. Coin conditions are indicated for certified coins; all other references to grades are for reference only.

• Winning bids represent a binding agreement to purchase the auction items.

• E-transfer payments qualify for a 17% buyer’s premium. Request this option by emailing info@addisonauction.ca prior to start of the auction.

• If no payment method is specified prior to the start of the auction, credit card transactions will be processed the day after the auction concludes, with a buyer’s premium of 20% applied.

• Full payment of auction invoice is required before shipping quotes are provided.

• Multiple lots will be combined for shipping, up to a maximum value of $5,000.00 or at the discretion of Addison Auction Company.

• When the combined value of multiple lots exceeds $5,000.00, shipments will be divided into separate packages. Each individual package will be arranged so that its total value does not exceed $5,000.00. Ensuring Canada Post maximum liability is not exceeded.

• Shipping payments must be made in full before items are shipped.

•  Pick up is not available; all lots will be shipped to the successful bidder.

• Shipments are sent via Canada Post Xpresspost post service with tracking, delivery confirmation, and insurance at a rate of $3.00 per $100.00 of total invoice value.

• Alternative shipping methods may be requested, subject to a $5.00 handling fee.

• At this time, Addison Auction Company does not offer shipping to the United States.

• Regardless that collectible coins (HS Code 7118.90) and numismatic collectables (HS Code 9705.10) are covered under CUSMA (USMCA) and not subject to tariffs, reliable tariff-free shipping to the US is not guaranteed from Canada at this time.

• Addison Auction Company is continually seeking stable and predictable shipping options.

• Not withstanding the above clause, US bidders are welcome to participate in this auction, providing the successful bidder makes their own shipping arrangements complete with pre-payment of shipping costs and any applicable tariffs that may or not be applied by US customs.

• Addison Auction will hold all lots for US buyers for a maximum 90 days to allow time for the bidder to arrange shipping. Refundable payments of 50% of hammer price will be applied the day following of auction, full nonrefundable buyers’ premium will be applied in addition to the retained 50%.

• Within 90 days of the completed auction, US bidders must provide proof that all shipping costs and applicable tariffs are paid. Addison Auction Company will collect final payment and ship the lots to the bidder once payment confirmation is received.

• If the US bidder is unable to secure shipping arrangements within 90 days from the completed auction, Addison Auction will refund the 50% of the hammer price retained following the auction at the applicable exchange rate applied the day following the auction.

• E-transfer payment option is not available to US bidders, only credit cards noted above will be accepted.
